I just got a Sansa brand m200 Series MP3 player... I tried uploading music on to it. And my music files don't play on my MP3 player... The screen says 'No Files' and yet when I plug in the MP3 player via the USB into the computer again and again it says I have files on there. And yet my MP3 player screen says 'No Files'. I'm confused. I have tried multiple times. I've had an MP3 player before-- a better brand one-- and I was able to upload music on it quickly and I'm mostly experienced in uploading music files onto MP3 players... But this Sansa one is a puzzle for me... And I'm sure the files I'm trying to upload are MP3s and are able to play on any computer. I've uploaded them to another MP3 player before...
How to make my MP3 player PLAY?
Sansa m200 series MP3 Player?
I got a e250r player and was having trouble with it. It turned out to be that I was in the wrong mode. There are two modes. One is MSC and the other is MTP. You might check and see if your player has these. It should be under Settings - USB Mode. Hope this helps.
Reply:sansa mp3 players are ridiculous. I suggest you get a better one.
Reply:I had the similar issue with my c200 model, you may have (mpg)files if you have music stored in i-tunes, San Disk doesn't support such files, use "Switch" it's a free software that you can convert files to MP3/WAV/ect. to SYNC your files for download thru Window Media Player..
I too am having issues with my m200, I have only been able to upload 11 songs far less than what I should have, and I can't hear them to top it off.
