Mp3 help Plz help?
if your mp3 player is acting you might have got it from a cheap store. Next be careful of that
Reply:i had one and it died on me so chances are that your did too

Also I recomend the sansa e260 its 4gigs and well

just go here...http://tech.yahoo.com/pr/sandisk-sansa-e...
Reply:just get an ipod. its harder to break. especially the nano 2nd generation ones.

nano ipod

PROS: if it breaks you probably still have a guarantee or something

theres alot of people on the apple website you can get help from in a case that it is broken

CONS: its more expensive

ooh and if it ever freezes, just press and hold the center and the menu button to restart it and you wont lose any files or anything. it just kinda restarts like the computer restarts
Reply:The answer at the above mine is partially right. MP3 Players CAN play videos just like iPods. I, personally am against iPod and here is why:

CONS for iPod:

1) They get so scratched SO easy it is unbelievable

2) You get so little for so much money to pay

Meaning - most iPods you only get music and photo, unless you get the iPod Video, but the screen is so small on the nano and it is not worth paying almost $200 for a 4GB

3) When you buy an iPod, you are mostly buying their name, not for quality

4) They do come with a lot of accesseries, but that is because it basically comes with nothing when you buy it

Example, I will use my MP3 Player for an example. I have a SanDisk Sansa e270. With the Sansa, you get, Radio, Music, Photo, Video, FM Recording, Micrphone, and a pouch. iPod, you get Music, Photo, and with the Video, Video. But that's it. If you want anything else, you pay a lot for it.

5) iPods can only be used with iTunes which is a horrible player to use. With an MP3 player, you can choose any Music Source you want.

6) They have SO many problems. Just type in iPod into the Search for Questions box here on Yahoo! Answers

PROS for iPod:

1) They are the smallest music sourced player on the market.

CONS for MP3:

1) MP3 players with video can get very pricy, but so is the iPod.

2) Hard to find an MP3 player with a big screen for cheap

PROS for MP3:

1) I listed them in the iPod cons section!

If you want an MP3 player, yet like the iPod possiblilies, go with the Creative M:

It has everything that an MP3 player can plus with Video for the same price as an iPod

Or go with the Microsoft ZUNE. Great player my friend!

If you need any more help, or questions concerning MP3 Players/iPods, feel free to e-mail me at kjcoolyo2002@yahoo.com
Reply:to put it straight up... your mp3 is dead. RCA makes horrible players and when mp3s first came out I knew alot of people who had them and they always were messing up and a few just burnt out. Your best bet is to buy another brand, remember: you get what you pay for.
Reply:YOU MP3 is DEAD! SORRY! and iPod is a good option but hey. Read for yourself!

hings that suck about the iPod

# iTunes is a must

- In order to transfer any music to your iPod, you must be using Apple’s iTunes program. Other MP3 players I’ve had just acted like a portable hard drive, allowing me to drop and drag, the iPod doesn’t.

# Scratches easily

This really pissed me off since I barely used it, and future use would inevitably scratch it further. There are services online that can replace the screen for about $160, but it wasn’t that serious. I just went to Best Buy and got an “iPod action pack” case.

# Limited accessories

- I went all over looking for some kind of screen protector or cleaner, and found crap. All everyone kept telling me was “there’s not really much out for them yet.” You’d think something that was $400 would come with a little more of an add-on selection.

# Such a mess

- Since most of my music is downloaded from P2P services, it makes it hard to find a lot of my songs on the iPod. Apple has this weird menuing system that aggravates me to no end. There’s not even a search feature.

# Crappy selection of shows

- sure I know it’s new, and it’s actually going to benefit the future of digital television and stuff, but the current selection of shows sucks. Unless you’re one of the nerds obsessed over Lost, Desperate Housewives and That’s SO Raven. pft.

Things I like about the iPod

# iTunes is great

- While I may not buy a lot of stuff from the music store, it’s sampling feature is great for finding new music to download with Limewire. I do pay for the music videos though.

# iPod plays VIDEO!

Now if only they’d find some way to protect the screen, besides that lame *** sheath it comes with, iPod would be even cooler. I still plan on watching an assload of DVDs on my flight to Japan and having hours of entertainment. If you have
Reply:Yours is dead Check these one out I've been using mine for months it has built in rechargable battery and FM and other stuff http://www.mp4direct.org use the mp4 link it's great
