Ok, I want to know what I want for christmas, an Ipod or an MP3 Player, I always hear that iPods are better, but I cant be sure


1)what has more battery life?


2)What holds more media?


3) can an MP3 player hold photos?


4)what is more durable?


5) What is easier to use?


6) can you put songs from a cd on an MP3 player or an iPod?


7) What is the main differnce between the iPod and the MP3 player?

1) The new iPods have okay battery life but there are lots of mp3 players with better battery life.





2) iPods hold lots of media, but once again there are other mp3 players that are just as good and hold just as much... and 9 out of 10 times cheaper!





3) Yes, now these days tons of mp3 players can hold photos.





4) The new iPods don't scratch nearly as easily as the old ones so far that i know, and they are improved with anodized aluminum. There once again are some mp3 players that are just as durable.





5) iPods are popular basically because they are easy to use. Few mp3 players are just as easy to use, but there are some.





6) No you can not with an iPod, with the Creative Zen V (listed below) you can record RIGHT from a CD player, friends ipod or mp3 player, or even stereo.





7) The main difference is probably price, iPods are extremely overpriced, and they lack lots of features...they are just sorta a fad and its not that sensible to get one other than they are easy to use.





8) the iPod is veeerrrry selective with formats, but most popular ones will work.





9)Different formats don't cost anything

Ans:- Ipod. I returned 2 MP3 players and then settled for IPOD for battery life.





2)What holds more media?





Ans:- That depends on the size. If you buy 30G IPOD, you are OK.





3) can an MP3 player hold photos?





Ans:- MP3 player means just playing Mp3 music. It may hold pictures and act like a USB drive.





4)what is more durable?





Ans:- I would say IPOD but other Mp3 players are good enough.





5) What is easier to use?





Ans:- 100% IPOD. Best user interface I have ever used.





6) can you put songs from a cd on an MP3 player or an iPod?





Ans:- Both.





7) What is the main differnce between the iPod and the MP3 player?





Ans:- IPOD is an MP3 player and also has picture viewing, video playing, organizing facility. In addition you cannot use IPOD to copy music. If you loose your IPOD, others cannot really copy music from it or change anything on it.

Ans:- Buy online or convert from CD.

Ans:- IPOD is 299$. I don't understand diffrent format part. I guess you meant diffrent specifications. Higher the storage size, better it is.





Buy Ipod as it is reliable, secure, has more feature, slick and stylish.

probably the ipod holds more media. a mp3 player does not hold photos. the ipod id easier to use. i am not sure if u can put songs on there from a cd. they are pretty much the same but the ipod is better. i do not know. i don't know. the ipod is usally thinner and holds games but the mp3 player does not have games.
