Itunes/mp3 player question? please help!?
**This is for Itunes**
# Make sure your settings are as you want them.
# All songs on a CD are checked by default. The checkmark should be visible in a box just to the left of every song. Uncheck any songs you don't want.
# Click the Import icon at the top right of the screen. It will change colors as the checked songs are imported. The info bar at the top lets you know which song is being imported and how far along the process is.
# Wait for the ripping to finish. The speed depends mostly on two factors: your CD player and the processing power of your computer. Encoding is massive number crunching, and a strong CPU comes in very handy.

By doing this, they will be uploaded in to your Itunes Library and then you can use Itunes to put them directly on your Ipod.
That's it. You've now imported your first songs. Relax and take a listen, or forge ahead with the rest of your collection.
Reply:well i have a mac and i can do it and vise versa.
1 option is to just highlight all the songs and move them to the desktop and then highlight them all and put them in the music folder of your mp3.
option 2 is if you know all the songs then look them up in limewire and download them again and oput it back into your mp3.
Reply:iTunes is specifically for the ipods, but your mp3 should come with a program for syncing songs. If not, when i had a plain mp3 player, I just simply dragged and dropped the song files into the mps player floder that was in my computer, when it is plugged in.
Reply:OMG!!! i like just figured that out today!!
okay well u hav to download SyncTunes (just google it or sumthing and click on a link 2 download it)
then u hav to open it up after u download it (oh and its free to download) and choose the playlist tht u want to download onto ur MP3 player and make sure ur MP3 player is hooked up while ur doing this and then choose the volume (which would be ur MP3 player) and then click sync..... and bada bing!! u got it!!
well i hoped that helped bcuz it worked 4 me 2day
Reply:you cant put the songs directly in mp3 format.
actually the songs will be converted to another format when u put in the itunes.
i tunes will convert the songs to its format and then only u can load it
Reply:ok... ummm... from what i understood about your writing, what you have to do iz probably just save the songs on your computer through itunes.... by importing the Cds......
