MP3 Problems?

i want to put some songs from my CDs into my MP3 but when i copy the songs from the CDs into my MP3 folder, i can, but when i click it to hear the song from the MP3 folder it doesnt work.





and when i tried to MOVE the songs into the MP3 folder, it says it's a read-only disk so i can't move it in!





what do i do?





or do you guys have any other ways to put songs from my CDs into my MP3??

MP3 Problems?
The only way you can copy an MP3 file straight from a disc is if that disc is a data disc. If it is an audio disc, then you have to rip the files with a program.





Copy = data disc with MP3 files


Rip = audio disc with audio encoded files





You can rip a CD with several programs, but I cannot really give you a direct suggestion of which since I do not entirely know which would be simplest for a beginner. I am more advanced and therefore any suggestion from me saying a program is easy cannot be entirely true.





The best I could say is you should search for a guide which shows you how to rip a CD. I think this should solve your problem.
