Mp3 questions before buying?

I want to get some info on mp3 players B4 buying. Please excuse my incorrect wording, on these:

IF I BUY A MP3 PLAYER AND LET SAY IT HAS 80 GB of storage: I can record 80 GB of music right?

Do I have to download music files or can I somehow play my own CDs on my PC, convert them and record them (or save them ) TO my Mp3 player?

Once the 80 gbs is full, can I erase or delete some songs later

on, and then add more songs?

do some mp3 players have the capabilty to add more storage space?

do some mp3's have proprietary software ?

i.e. will I have to download music only from certain sites?

OR, will I not be able to access all music download sites

with certain mp3 players software?

do most mp3 players require that they are charged regularly or do they run on batteries?

most important things to look at %26amp; consider when buying a mp3 player?

(besides easy to use software or GUI)

Mp3 questions before buying?
wow lots of questions. lol

You can use your own CD's and put them on the MP3 . I've done it using Windows Media Player.

Yes you can delete the songs

I'm not aware of any you can add more storage to.

you can download from anywhere as long as its the right format (ex:mp3 ,avi)

Most have lithium Ion batteries which are charged.

Consider does it have video? do you want video? size, storage, style.
Reply:Wow, you need to be more clear. You're confusing us all!
Reply:Hi:

I'm not a Mp3 guru but the best advice that I could give you is read the content of what Mp3 player you want to buy or go to several different stores like Radio Shack, Best Buy or Circuit City and ask them ALL the same relevant questions you have about Mp3 players. This will help you make a better decision before buying before. Hope this info was helpful. Take care!!
